Meeting October 1 ! Download October Newsletter

The meeting is Tuesday, October 1. The doors open at 6pm for conversation, sharing ideas, looking at Spooky magic books and items for sale from Byron Walker and making new friends.

The Business meeting starts at 7:00 followed by a mini Teach-in on the Multiplying Golf Balls, new sets to be given to all currently paid members. If you do a multiplying balls routine please show us.

And then the Open Stage where you can perform effects, preferably but not required, Halloween appropriate.

The newsletter has a review of the OMC Northern California Stage Contest, memorabilia of Franciso and his famous Spook Shows, this month’s Magical Resource perfect for DIY wizards, where to eat dessert near Bjornson Hall, Mrs. Harry Houdini in Oakland, and lots of magic happenings in the Bay area. Plus we have added a listing of Northern California brick and mortar magic shops to support.

Oakland Magic Circle Installation Banquet! The Oakland Magic Circle’s annual Installation banquet to honor the incoming officers will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. To order tickets, go to: Brown Paper Tickets.

Our show will be headlined by Rob Zabrecky, winner of the Magic Castle’s Stage Magician of the Year award. Also magic by Germar and hosted by Michael Della Penna.
